I received a call from the owner of the company stating that they had issues printing a pdf file.

Ok, instead of remote fixing the issue, I decided it was prudent to visit. This would ensure no details were missed and the owner gets it fixed asap, the way they like it.

Once there it became apparent what the problem was. An 80 Page PDF file full of color images, high res.

This generated a 700MB print spool and at this point we were receiving calls from other departments as to why they can't print to any printer.

In the end, the print jobs were cancelled, spools cleared and re-sent in smaller parts.

Fortunately the owner isnt in the office very often, but they do have demands and as ever expect quick turnaround no matter the impact. :-)
