I have been in tech support for about 5 years. To be honest this story did not happen to myself, it actually happened to my boss. There was a customer that called in in the early 2000's that was absolutely frantic. She was claiming that her computer had been possessed by Satan. Writing was appearing on the screen talking about murder and she was convinced her computer wanted her dead. After attempting to calm the user down, my boss noticed she had her tv on loudly in the back ground. When he did a little further research into her control panel, he realized she had a voice to text program installed. She was watching murder she wrote.
Caller: "My old keyboard quit working so I bought a new one. but, the old one had a round plug and this one has kind of a square one. Do you have an adapter or something to make it work?"
Several years ago, I was working in a computer shop. This was back in the days when we repaired and fixed computers...not just "Buy a new one".
Anyway, this guy brought in a box where the power supply fan had quit. I took the PS out and apart to replace his old fan with a new one. The old fan had quit because the marijuana residue was so thick that it couldn't spin!
I had to work on it outside.

so after reading another persons xbox chat session tale and having a miniature one where the person didn't fully pay attention to what I was asking at my own work's help desk, I then had a sometimes helpful but still baffling experience of my own w/ my current internet service provider trying to find out about their cable services.

You: so I figure that the lower amount of channels costs more because it has more English right?
