Having retired from the IT world to do repair work on trains my stress levels have dropped significantly. Who know dealing with 40 tons of train is easier than 100 lbs of human! Lol

We have an ancient diagnostic computer used to check functions similar to the OBD2 system on a car. My first day there I was told that it acts up all the time and asked if I could give it an "expert" once over. I turn it on and within a couple of minutes it turns off. "That's normal" I'm told.

Figured the power supply was going out and opened the case...

It was so full of dust dirt and who only knows what that you literally not see any of the components inside!

Quick cleaning with the air hose and some alcohol later the thing has run non-stop for several years!
