Funny and Humorous Technical Support Tales and Stories

The following happened to me at work recently:

Customer: I am using software-X to edit and then upload videos to YouTube, but it's not working!

Me: Ok, is it telling you why it isn't working?

Customer: Yes, it says "No Network Detected". (Known bug with software customer was using).

Me: Ok - to rule out your connection, are you able to upload videos directly from Youtube?

Customer: Who-tube?

Me: Youtube, you know - the actual website.

Customer: What's that?

Customer had been using our software to upload videos to Youtube, but didn't even know what Youtube was... I'm surprised her heart even remembers to beat in the morning.

The fellow goes into the store and asks for a 6 conductor phone jack.

The salesperson goes, "Oh you want to put 6 phones on one jack".
